Yerk.app is an AI image and video service operated by an individual developer ("we", "us", "I").

Information we handle

• Email sign-in: your email address. We use it to send one-time sign-in codes and operate your account.
• Google sign-in (only for older accounts moving to email sign-in): your email address, used once to confirm it's your account.
• Your creations: your prompts and uploads are used only to make your images and videos. Your creations and Yerk AI chats are kept for 7 days so you can see your history.
• Purchases: credit and purchase history, including historical transaction records kept for payment reconciliation and fraud prevention. New purchases use XRP or Cash App. XRP transfers are recorded on the public XRP Ledger; Cash App handles its users' payment-account details.
• Security: IP address (used for security and to estimate your general region) and basic logs. Google Analytics usage statistics.

How we use it

To run your account and the service, process purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, and send account emails (plus occasional updates you can unsubscribe from). We don't sell your data.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run Yerk, and only as needed. We don't sell your data. Our use of data from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Retention and deletion

Creations and Yerk AI chats are deleted from Yerk after 7 days. Account data stays until you delete your account. Logs are kept as long as needed for security and fraud prevention. To close your account, or to ask us to delete, get or correct your data, use Contact Support on yerk.app. We close accounts within 7 days of a request, keeping only what we need for payments, fraud prevention and enforcing bans.

Photos of others and reporting abuse

Pornographic or sexually explicit content is prohibited, including AI-generated images and videos of real or fictional people.

Only upload photos of yourself, adults who agreed, or fictional adult characters. Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) — sexual or intimate images of a real person made or shared without their consent, including AI-generated or edited images — is prohibited, as is any sexual content involving minors, real or fictional. Report abuse through Contact Support on yerk.app (no account needed); we remove violating content and ban the account.
